you played me for a fool and i guess i acted like one
i was idiotic to ever think that you cared whether i stayed friends with you or not
you kept me at arms length and only pulled me in when you needed me

but you could just say

instead of repeatedly playing with my feelings
you didnt have to accept the kiss
