Description
A while back I bought this book called 'The Winston Effect: The Art and History of Stan Winston Studio'.If you are a big fan of movie creature special effects and animatronics, then you must be familiar with Stan Winston
Reading about how the studio worked on Predator is quite an interesting one, it got me motivated to start working on this.
Been working on this for over a week now, I hope to finish it soon.

The on thing that I do see is that Arnold's upper body is a bit on the thin side...it's not as bulked up as it could be. It's a minor nitpick. You've got something really cool happening in this piece. Keep up the good work.

Thanks. You are right, his upper body isn't as bulked as you'd think it would be. I noticed that when drawing from the ref pic, I think it looks that way because he's slightly leaning over.

Oh my gosh, I'm absolutely loving this piece! The colors are terrific and a great choice of the colored paper too. The details of Arnold's vest and weapon, as well as the Predator are fantastic! Even Arnold's likeness is down to a T! I am so anxious to see this finished! Amazing work Gabe!

i really love colored pencil artwork, i think it gets overlooked because its such a common media, people just dont associate it with fine arts. but you can make colored pencils look so much like an oil painting, its unbelievable what you can do with them! and you seem to feel completely confident in getting that affect, and pushing those limits of the media.
Great job, I cant wait until the finsihed piece.
