There's the story of an android who met a small angel in a short meeting.

John is a PH500 android, designed for the medical service. His purpose is mainly about taking care of adult patients with severe injuries, proceeding to major surgeries that could save their lives. Everything was fine with the obedient android...

Until one day there's a huge emergency and his life changes forever. There's a badly injuried child who survived a car accident but he need an emergency surgery. The problem is no other surgeons are able, even one of them is high in Red Ice to do anything helpful. So they see their only chance to save the child, John was called and for the first time he feel helpless. Surgery on an adult is a thing, but with a child when he's not programed to do that? Only the humans able able to do that for now! But the child is dying and he have to do something. John, trying to calm down the child, ask his name. The child is Cole Anderson and he's in such pain. But then the child see at the android at his eyes, suddenly there's a cheerful glow in those John never seen before. Cole is in deep joy to see an android taking care of him. The child, pure for this world, loved androids so much like he loved his dad, and he hoped that someday androids will be able to feel like humans do and maybe, one android making his dear dad happy. John was surprised for the kind treatment he's getting from a human for the first time, but there's no time... the clock is tickling and he tried his best.

Cole's words dig deeply into his core as he tries to save his life. But the injuries are so badly and there's no more helping coming to give a hand. John tried his best... in order to save that kind human child. He wanted to save him so badly...

But it wasn't enough and Cole died in the process.

John was blank at the view of the child lifeless before him. Without thinking much and just following his now glitching protocol, he banged his head and carried the child away of that room. A child who even in death, keep smiling as a little angel.

After leaving Cole in other place, John tried to go back to normal, but the news of him not able to save a human cause all the human staff to think John is defective. Instead of blaming the drugged human surgeon for negligence, they decide to get rid of the android. But John, having clear memories of Cole's face and voice cause his system to torn apart... and when he realizes that the human are about to dispose him... he broke his code.

Now free from his protocol and having tears on his eyes for the shock of the events, he ran away from the hospital and never seen again while a father grieves his dead son.
Where the android went? He's hiding somewhere, guilt riden for not saving the only human who show kindness to him... and he eventually found a place where more androids ran away from their owners... a place named Jericho.
