Sure did...sepia ink and a dip pen. This gave me the opportunity to vary the line's thickness and tone....examples on my Facebook [link]

This so reminds me of all the books I used to have as a child. Good memories.

I love all the little details of this, and the fact that you used watercolours! To me, that seems to be the choice of medium for almost all children's books.
