Any tips on how to obtain the rainbow fx? did you played with gradients and blending mode perhaps?

the lasso tool? so you selected every area by itself, duplicated it and then get freaky with the color balance? that's it?
Is there any chance you can post some screen shot of the psd? I'm curios, that would be very instructive, if it is not a bother to you, that is!

no you shoudnt duplicate anything, just mark area you want to colorize and go on.... just bit desatur colors before you want to colorize
and welll why you want psd

So, if I'm getting this straight: simply select an area, make a new layer, place some color there, lower the saturation of the color and then play with the balance, this is the mix, right?
I might try something later with this, could be fun
