I wasn't going to submit this is parts but the file was so huge I had no choice XDThis is how my journals would look like if I had the time (and will) to draw them. The original title was "Why Naruto needs a Shrink" but it was too long.

Well, I might be wrong, but as far as I know both forms are ok...
Since japanese tends to transliterate other languages the way they are spoken insted of how they are written...
His name transliterates back to Romaji as "Pein" because that's the way "Pain" is pronunced...
Something similar happens to the sentence "Thank you!", it passes into japanese and transliterated back in Romaji becomes "Senkyu!" or something like that, because that's the way it is pronunced more or less...
So in the end, his name is probably ment to be "Pain" (I think Kishimoto hinted at that saying the piercings represent one inflicting pain on himself) but how you call him is just a matter of taste... It's pronunced the same and has the same meaning...
Sorry if I was boring, but this thing intrigued me too and this is what I found...
