This is my new closed species, the Kuropies. This is my darling Adelaide.
Little bit of info on Kuropies.
Kuropies used to be plentiful, humans used to live in peace with them, before they began to use them. The gem embedded in their chest is the culmination of their being, who they are, their personality and morals.
If these are removed they become mindless drones that were used as machines of war. Broken Kuropies are those whose gems were cracked during the removal process, they are wild and unpredictable.
Kuropie skulls grow on the outside of the head, and many have what resemble a "unicorn horn". They attach capes or hoods to their gems and hide a magical marker on their bodies. Adelaide's is on the back of her neck, a smaller, less complicated version of the marking are on the front of all four legs.
Tere are three basic types of Kuropies, Light, Dark, and Limbo. This is determined by the colour of their skull. Light have light coloured skulls and calm personalites, dark have dark coloured skulls and strong personalities, and Limbo are either born with the skull on the inside, are transparent, or lack markings. Limbo Kuropies are very weak and vulnerable.

Now, Kuropies are rare and people have forgotten their strength, they are highly valued as pets around the world.
