Description "I will show you... what lies at the end of power."

This photo was taken on Saturday night at Anime Weekend Atlanta 2019 at the start of November 2019.  The cosplayer is my friend Alex ( www.instagram.com/aribug360/  on Instagram), who is cosplaying the "Azur Lane" ship-girl character representing the legendary World War 2 Eagle Union (a.k.a. U.S. Navy) Yorktown-class aircraft carrier U.S.S. Enterprise (CV-6).  The photographer is Momo Clicks Photography (  www.facebook.com/MomoClicksPho… ), another of my convention community friends, who is very skilled at photo editing.

This photo was taken at the great outdoor fountain/bell tower sculpture near the Renaissance Waverly hotel and Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta, GA.  We chose the location for the shoot because its architecture made it suitable as a photoshoot set to stand in for part of the Azur Lane faction's naval base from the "Azur Lane" mobile game and anime, with only minimal need for Photoshop work, and this photo is an example of our clever use of this "set."

Like the "Ashen Simulacrum" photo I uploaded before it, this shot is another that has been more heavily edited.  At first glance, the editing looks simple - a full-body photo of U.S.S. Enterprise (CV-6) firing her beam-like "arrow" from her bow, with the "arrow" blast and bowstring added to the shot.  However, there's actually a lot more going on than that.

A faint starry sky has been added to the background where it can be seen from the gaps in the bell tower sculpture behind Enterprise.  Then, a subtle fog effect has been added to the entire backdrop, further helping to sell the idea that the sculpture we used as the set for this photoshoot is indeed a part of the Azur Lane faction's naval base and is located at a harbor.

As the Enterprise herself would say... "owari da!"
