What would you do if everything you knew and loved was minutes from being erased? Kaizan answered this question during the tournament of power. After witnessing the erasement of his friend Zamas from an alternate timeline and the death of Master Roshi, kaizan was confronted by frost who proceeded to injure the elder saiyan warrior and mock him claiming his "Filthy monkey ideals of pride couldnt protect those he cared for and would only get those he loved killed." Kaizan rose to his feat. His normal stoic expression was gone replaced by a blank glare of rage diffrent than his own when pushed to LSS. Kaizan opened his mouth and in a serious tone declared "That is Irrelevant. I dont care about my pride anymore. That side of me is dead." In a flash of raw energy power errupted from kaizans body bulking him up and engulfing him in Energy of Destruction as Belmond god of destruction of universe 11 declared "Kaizan the Legendary Super Saiyan is no more. We have witnessed the birth of Kaizan the Destroyer!"

Later on in the tournament kaizan would join Vegeta and Goku in confronting Jiren. Upon declaring their intent to Jiren Kaizan, like his allies, and brothers in arms, pushed his new found power beyond its limits vowing not to let his mates Kassava, Bonyu, or his unborn son Nion be destroyed and merged his Hakaishin powers with his super saiyan form giving birth to a new power...The Super Saiyan God Of Destruction/SSHakai. Kaizans job from that point forward was to keep 17 safe to inshure universe 7 won.

When all was said and done a greatful 17 gave Kaizan the honor of having the wish that saved the Dragon Ball Multiverse.
