Kion was walking around in circles, nervous, Rani had been in labor for hours and he had no news of her or her cubs, suddenly he began to hear a small meowing coming from the den they both shared, Makini came out and looked at him with a smile.
Mkn- Go see your new cubs.
Kion nodded nervously and went into his den. Rani was at the back of the den with two little lions, Rani was licking them and soothing their meowing when she noticed her husband.
R- Come closer, they don't bite, for now.
Rani smiled, and Kion approached slowly as he watched his little ones. Kion licked his wife's cheek as she purred and bent down to look at the cubs.
Kn- They are beautiful
R- I know, a female and a male full of life.
Kn- What shall we name them?
R- The little golden ball of fur will be Thema , our little girl.
Kion smiled
R- And for the other one, I will give you the honour of naming him.
Kion looked at his son
Kn- I always wanted to name one of my children after my grandfather, Mufasa.
Rani looked at him and accepted
R- Fair enough, congratulations, new daddy.
Kn- Congratulations, new mommy
They both purred, and Rani slept for a while while Kion watched his family.
