K-suke is an illustrator and he was a tokusatsu monster designer. He worked on Kyoryuger and Ninninger, and more super sentai. However, K-suke's illustrations were adorable and his drawing looks cartoon-like. So I think the designs of Balloopo characters seemed to suit K-suke.
