Two posts in two days?? Who even is this!

So this deviant right here has a bunch of coloring pages other than the main meme one going around of the Mane 6 + Spike, and this one was just TOOOOO precious not to do. Sooo, who wants a few Andromedaverse notes, yeah? Lets get some.

- Twilight is essentially Spike's mother. The family refers to him as Twilight and Shining's brother and as such they also refer to themselves as siblings but c'mon. She hatched that egg herself. She had to raise that kid for a good while after completely on her own- and that's in canon. In Andromedaverse it still goes like this, and neither of them really acknowledge that Twilight is basically his mom... but deep down they know it, and some interactions just... end up being that way.
- As stated in a previous post, Spike gained his freckled scale pattern after he had molted. Twilight gained her multicolored horn, hooves, wings, and white stripe through her ascension to Princesshood. Although Spike's molt happened much much later, it's still something the two found to bond over. Permanent alterations to their appearance that make them feel different, not necessarily in a bad way! But they're not the biggest fan of change, y'know.
- Both of them are magically linked. Twilight's surge of magic that hatched him caused their markings to be shared, but that's not all that was shared. Any magic Twilight casts on Spike is far more potent than magic casted on anypony else. This manifests in ways like... concentration spells require less concentration, hour long spells will last an hour and a half (or two depending on the spell), stuff like that. Ever since learning the spell that allows non-pegasi to stand on clouds, Twilight has been casting it on herself and Spike to take cloud rests often. Not when Cloudsdale is above though, only when the sky is empty and they would be unbothered. Spike always managed to stay on the cloud longer than her, but that only stood to benefit them once she gained her wings.
