From the 2015 film "Last Knights"Lieutenant Cortez: Not all confrontations will be one-on-one as now practice sessions.
Gabriel: I was not aware we were practicing such a scenario.
Lieutenant Cortez: There are never warnings in battle. Not all adversaries will adhere to the warrior's code as we do. You must always be on alert. We must begin preparations to leave immediately. We've been summoned to the capital.
Gabriel: Lieutenant, will I be joining the convoy?
Lieutenant Cortez: That is the Commander's decision.
Gabriel: With all respect, sir, I believe I'm ready.
Lieutenant Cortez: If the Commander made decisions based on what others believed about themselves, half these men would have my position. Gather the men to prepare for our journey!
The movie is watchable yet the screenplay could have been written better in my opinion. I especially loved Gabriel's character, played by the handsome Noah Silver. The father-son relationship he had with lieutenant Cortez (Cliff Curtis) I did like and was deeply touched by.
