Crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy, etc... this was my first ever attempt at casting [a buzzilion years ago (4?)] and it was a full, 3D, huge predator sculpture I did that needed a 2-part cast. I knew better... pthhppd. you can see my first latex mask had to be put together in pieces at the end there. I thought that piece of plastic bucket I heated up for structure was sort of brilliant though. Start small they said...

So, there's the use of that water-based "Dam" I show in my tutorial. I made it thick enough, so I wouldn't have to hold it up.

Oddly enough I can't find a single picture of the finished predator sculpture in clay?
