so, tell me, what's the deal with IR? previous IR deviations I've seen have had an effect of kind of flattening things into layers, or so I remember perceiving. well, that and it desaturates the image. pretty surreal. here, you use filters to create your own saturation and it doesn't seem to have that layered look, so what affect did IR have on this photo? why IR?

Very impressive. It certainly does have a very romantic mood about it. I liked your composition, and I would imagine that all that preparation and all those filters helped you to get those beautiful colors. Well worth the effort it seems.
Did you have to bracket this? It seems very well exposed since the contrast is perfect. Or maybe it was just the result of all that hard work.

Amazing shot, i love teh colors and how the branches seem to fall upwards instead of down, the perspective is amazing, it just seems like gravity has no effect on this tree.

i like the idea of having flowers n such on one side but the other side is bare. its really good i wish i could capture an image like that.

Its indeed a nice photograph. Looks like a moment right after apocalypse! Very nice colors and sharp lines on the tree... I think the composition could be slightly better... like from another angle, but thats just me. The technical aspect is executed well
