i love this picture. Beautiful shot. i think this focus on the twigs is such a brilliant idea.....it leaves the expectator wanting to rather focus on the background. brilliant, my compliments

this picture is very artisitc; nearly abstract as far as nature photgraphy can go. most photographers wouldn't focus on such a small (very small) and insignificant factor. full-view, as many others ,i have noticed have stated, is indeed necessary; at first glance the majority of the picture being blurry, takes away from the aesthetics a more clear photo could depict, but after truly looking at this picture for more than a glance, i began to favor this picture over some of your others. although i still feel the size of the grass and the amount of unfocused area does take away from some of the assesment and enjoyment of the shot.
though, it is a really cool shot.

alot of your work seems to be to be a true capture of a "moment" in time. I know that sounds like a silly cliche, however, browsing your gallery you seem to be able to capture frozen time and make it look so easy.
I love this shot for the total simplicity of it. It is a shot that can mean many different things for so many people. to me...it has that rich home country feel to it...the fenceposts in the b/g .. the long uncut grass. The silence of dusk..the last moments of lingering light. Those are all the things i feel.
beautiful

Beautiful, soft, this image is both those things and more. The focus on this is simply breathtaking, so little of it is sharp yet it's a photograph that of true technical merit.
The blur of the background only adds to the already dreamy quality of this piece.

I dont really know, but this picture gives me a feeling I cant describe.
It's like I feel a happy silence, and at the same time I feel sad.
hmm. It's hard to explain.
The picture has a great softness to it, and the few straws thats in focus, I just want to tutch them, feel them tickle my hand.
It's a great summerpicture, filled with all the emotions of summmer.

it's really pretty... i think the only thing that could be different is the grass in the front. it isn't quite big enough to be focusing in on.
