Been working on a few new custom figures lately and decided to show off the first one completed, Adric!

Originally created by Andrew Smith for the 1981 serial "Full Circle", Adric was originally pitched as an "Artful Dodger in space" type of character that evolved into the "Boy Genius" character during his time on the show, something viewers at the time found annoying. Sadly, due to the Tardis considered to be over crowded and because he was the least popular of the three companions at the time, the decision was made to kill Adric off in the 1982 story, "Earthshock" after saving the Earth from the Cybermen.

Here we have Adric alongside the Fourth Doctor, who, according to the character himself in the PDA novel "Divided Loyalty", preferred travelling with the this incarnation to the Fifth Doctor, which is understandable since Four felt more like a mentor and father figure to him.
