the only way to get the real meaning is by see a hiragana from all direction. someone that seme is probably at top of the uke. in the other word, seme means, the one that 'attack'(see the bottom of the 'I' almost hit through the 'X') and uke means the one that get 'attacked'(the top line possibly as the wall and the little comma like stroke represent the soldier that guard the king) and if you ask me which to choose, i'll go both of them because both still the same character(including classic and modern sonic)
