I love this image. Ikaro had lots of character. My betta was also very old and just died today. I'm very sad, but he was sick for awhile and none of the medications worked, so it is probably for the best.

Old garvin looks like he's had quite a life. A mis-spent youth in front bars and pool halls. Booze, brawls and babes. He looks a little battered. I suggest a squeeze of lemon and some chips on the side.
Or perhaps lightly fried in butter and a hint of garlic. Spoon pan juices over said fish, and garnish with a sprig of dill.
