31 Days of Horror Paaintings Day 27 part 1!

The first Saw film is a modern classic. Tightly scripted, well shot, with a great twist, it came out of nowhere and instantly earned James Wan a place as one of the new premier horror directors. As is the case, the sequels began to falter (I've personally never seen beyond the 3rd film), but the first remains one of my favorite modern horror films. Jigsaw's pig head mask is a bit strange, the long hair especially, but it somehow just works for me. The scene of Adam's abduction from his apartment is one of my favorite scenes in the film. And how can you forget the puppet? The way it bikes itself out and talks to Amanda is fantastically creepy.
