Description
The Incom/Subpro Z-92 Razor was an earlier design that incorporated many features that would be used in the Z-95 Headhunter series, the Razor was liked for its dedication to maneuverability and speed over its firepower. The Razor would see usage on both sides during the Clone Wars and was liked by some Jedi for its mobility, during the early days of Empire the Razor was used primarily by Rebel forces. The Razor would remain in the rebel fleet for sometime but would be abandoned for a period of time, during this period a number of the Razor's were modified by the Incom Design team to extend their lifetime in the Rebel Alliance and would return to service there after. The last reported usage of a Rebel Alliance/New Republic Z-92 Razor was in 6 ABY during the Liberation of Courscant. A number of these fighters would end up in the hands of the fledgling New Jedi Order for a period before being replaced by newer fighters and many of these old fighters would be placed in storage, during Yuuzhan Vong War many of the the old Razor's were turned into Droid operated flying missiles/bombs in an attempt to delay the Vong in the early days of the war.
