Description
Importance RevisitedLe Palais de l'isle: Annecy, France
Its triangular form in the shape of a ship's bow evokes a gallery anchored in the river, whose waters it tirelessly divides. It fell residence to the governor of Annecy's in the 12th Century. It then served as administrative halls when the Count of Geneva settled in Annecy. Later a prison known as, the Mint, it was doomed to be demolished at the end of the 19th century, however, it was saved thanks to it's classification as a historical monument. It now houses exhibitions.

Very cool, just a little over-exposed. Nice job with the history.
