Yeah i know...it was done by timer and there was nothing I could do about the cropping as the camera was as far away as I could make it.

Nice. Did you take this yourself with a timer? Some parts are cut off, like the top of your head and feet and the background is a little distracting. Otherwise, you look great.

Very astute Molly! Yep, just me and my trusty timer (whose 10 sec timer seems *way* too short sometimes). I agree that all of the things you mentioned would have make it better but I couldn't seem to get it right. *sigh*

I kind of like the background though...makes it feel...honest...

Yeah, my buddy ( ) has the same problem, so I've become familiar by proxy! I don't get why you can't select the timer length. Maybe on really expensive cameras you can.
