Now that's a great question! The usual searching for survivors could work but I like the angle where you mentioned 'corpses'! Perhaps this doomed construct wanders the land looking for fragments of its former humanity?

I always appreciate feedback, suggestions and ideas. I like to try and keep my work ambiguous to a degree where the viewer could portray their own feelings and concept from the image.
