Mock up example of a little project I have planned for the TF2 community. I aim to produce a pack of playing cards themed in Team Fortress goodness.Example shown is the Spy posing as the Joker card, I'll replace the standard sets of cards from the usual hearts, diamonds, clubs & spades with more appropriate items from the TF2 universe such as sandviches, bonks etc King can be Heavy, Queen the Pyro (possibly female), Jack as the Scout etc
Ideas and suggestions are most welcome, none of the ideas I have is finalized yet so please any contributions will be appreciated . . . .
Pencil, Ink, Watercolour painted over in PS, Painter . . . .

yeah the new update makes pyro look like a NORMAL CLASS

HAHA well to be fair the Pyro can have some skillful assets, blowing back incoming projectiles, clearing mass sticky traps and harassing snipers via the flair gun..... Plus is the best class to SPY CHECK!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah Pyro's rule in close quarters, keep him or any other pyro at bay, have a good distance between them, I always kill pyro's with the good old shotty, loads seem to either forget about that gun or try and use the flaregun against me when they are out of flame range, needless to say they get a gasmask full of lead

A very fascinating idea...
The spade could be a shovel (due to the bad punning on that; yes, I'm lame), diamonds could be metal (I don't know how metal looks, though. Sob.), the hearts a bottle'a scrumpy (although that would be a better fit to go with a liver, wouldn't it?) the club a wrench...
I figured Scout's Mom would be the queen, but hey; you're the artist.
All in all, however the project goes, I just hope you give us front-and-back scans of the cards; I'd love to print them out, and challenge one of my nerd buddies to a lovely game of Go Fish. (Go Spycheck?)

How about the hearts set as medic health crosses? Ace idea for the Queen!
I'll be posting more ideas soon.....
This project will take a while but its something I'll be doing over the year, perhaps even present the final collection to VALVe so they can play with them!

Well, it's an interesting project. Plus, it'll benefit TF2 nerds all over; not to mention it's gorgeous.
Presenting the final collection to Valve seems like a good move. They pay a lot of attention to the fanbase, after all; who knows, you might even make a buck or a thousand, if they decide to make an actual deck out of it. (Doubtful; but, hey, the possibility's there.)

Well, it could always be free on the web, but people who didn't want to print them out and put them together themselves could always buy a deck...
Or, heck, they could print them and give them out. It'd be far more pleasant.
