I agree with ya on the AVP movies.. I guess it was too hard for them to use the great AVP stories already made.. I can just picture the director going "Ya know, I think the plight of a teenage pizza delivery guy is much more appealing than putting colonial marines in the mix."

Haha, you're right! When I heared they wanted to make the first AVP movie I made a dance session in my appartment like this:
Because I hoped they would try to film the comics based on the books...but...-OUCH!!! Such a crap! When I was sitting in the theatre I didn't know what I should do: crying or screaming or laughing or...all of them! (I deciced to make little noises like: "ARGH!" and "Urgh!" and "Blargh!" and the guy next to me asked if I am okay! NO! I WASN'T OKAY!!!)

LOL! If you thought the first one was bad.. stay faaaaar away from the second one. I thought the first one was bad (mainly because of the acting and dialogue and characters), but at least mindlessly enjoyable. When I heard the second was rated R and after I saw the trailer, I was eager that they'd fix their earlier mistakes. It's 100x worse.. no style, all just contemporary handheld, everything is in the dark, and they just rip off all of the good scenes already done previously.. just done in the worst way imaginable. It's like the "I Know what you did last Summer 3" of the franchise.. lol.. Well.. that's my rant heheh

To late!!! I watched it last week!
But I didn't make the same mistake like I did when the first AVP came out. I wasn't looking forward to see it, I went into the theatre without any expections! (I just wanted to see a halfnaked bad ass looking Yautja! I am so simple...)

Alone the story of the second AVP was crappy, too! I think the movie was better than the first one..but...it's hurted although!
I think they fucked it up too, because they wanted to iron all the mistakes from the first movie out...-GUYS, IT DIDN'T WORK!!! Gnaaaaa...

The thing that the whole story plays in the dark is really bad! I had to sit down nearly directly in the front in the theatre because loads of tickets were sold out (I don't know why!) and so...in every fighting scene my head had go from right to left and back, my neck hurted to much after that day and...I nearly noticed NOTHING!!! BECAUSE it was too dark. And sometimes TOO fast! Their asses should rott in hell.
