Our hydrangea blossoms do not last long enough into the winter to get frost. They are mostly gone by October. The hydrangea doesn't die back until a good hard frost though... the leaves are green until then. I think we got the first really hard frost in late November this year.

These are amazing flowers when dead .. and a step further when frosty !
