This is one of the Cardfight!! Vanguard playmats designed by me. As some people may be able to tell, this is partly inspired by some design elements associated with most Mech series. Some people might say Voltron, others might say Gundams. Personally I've been a huge fan of the Transformers franchise since about 2002/2003, and the design I have here was inspired by some of the design elements used for the Autobots and Decepticons seen in the live action films and the animated series Transformers: Prime. The backdrop primarily focuses around how the outer layer of shell would look underneath the vehicle/alternate mode components, such as under the chest for instance. The vanguard and rear-guard circles were inspired primarily by the design for the eyes used for Optimus Prime and several other 'Bots or 'Cons in the live action films. I have also done versions of this design with different colours for the highlights, including green, red, purple, white, yellow, orange and teal as well as a «Link Joker» version. As per usual, this design comes with my own custom circle forms and has not yet been made available for purchase. Don't forget to add me or comment on my work!
