Description
This style makes use of a macro that I made named Eat Image. just thought you should know because it explains the weird names associated with them. The macro employs a method I found on accident that ends up makeing your picture look like its made out of Fordite. (old multicolor layered buildup of paint from auto factories that is polished and treated like a collectable rock.) I usualy have to take a bit of color out of the picture afterwards to make colors that look nice together This is made for print at 20x30 inches but you still could use the preview it as a background picture and it tiles. The original is not available as premium content anymore because the website is being wierd today. I am altering my technique for making print quality images. I generate solid noise filter base images in gimp and then use them in photoshop. unlike photoshop clouds solid noise is scalable and can give consistant results regardless of resolution. The one problem with working with large format when doing filter art is that it takes so much longer. some of the spontineity is lost and you dont want to expiriment as much when it takes so long. perhaps if I got a real fast computer this would solve this problem. However I like this one. I wasn't sure where to put this one. Its technicaly Photoshop filter art. I usualy put these into wallpapers but this was made as a poster even though the preview will work as a wallpaper. it looks like abstract pixel art but its not.click here to see a close up picture that shows the incredible ammount of detail. (its also a pretty cool wallpaper. cooler then this one)
After ordering a print and looking at It i had to reflip it. I think it looks better this way. the good news is it looks great in lustre
