I know I'd said that I was going to be working on another shimeji, but I stumbled across some inspiration and couldn't pass it up.

Madame Talbot's Victorian Lowbrow posters are absolutely incredible. They're done entirely by hand, with ink on paper, and I couldn't help but want to apply this style to my current obsession. Of course, this wasn't done by hand, but it's the spirit of the thing that matters.

First up was Ciel. He's not my favorite character so I figured I'd use him as a learning experience. >__> This was drawn in SAI, with the paper texture added in Photoshop.

I'd really like to keep this going as a series, so hopefully inspiration won't leave me. Crossing my fingers.
