The fourth in a new series that I'm working on. I wanted to go for a minimalist/stylistic approach and this is the result. I've always wanted to do character posters, but I never found a style that I liked and that I could keep consistent, so I'm very happy with the first 7 in this series. The theme I'm doing is character's origins. I will be posting one for the next 7 days "Mon Nov20- Sun Nov27." More to come after that, so stay tuned.

Samus Aran: (Metroid video game series)
I relation to the origin I just wanted to keep this one simple. The realization that Samus was in fact a woman at the end of the Metroid game was one of the defining moments in the Metroid series. While Ridley and the metroid alien itself are important in regards to the origin. I wanted to the imagery of Samus looking up at her suit to be the primary thing as it is the constant across the entire series.
