I shot this in raw, and during the conversion process, neglected to convert the color space to sRGB, so the colors came out a lot more muted then the other picture of this same gecko [which was shot in .jpg as sRGB) so the colors arent as true to life, but I still ike them.Related content

Beautiful gecko! I remember taking pictures of my last gecko Rocky, I wouldn't have been able to keep her still anywhere else but in the cage, however. x3

Wow you were able to capture the eyes really well! Taking pictures of reptiles and correctly capturing their coloring and marking can be hard!

Awww this picture is beyond adorable. I have a Leopard Gecko myself and I love how they can look like they are really smiling and this picture seems to really capture his/her personality!

Is he yours? I love my leo's. <3 I'm breeding my younger one and she has the genes for this type of coloration. We're keeping our fingers crossed!! It's fantastic, the simple background really brings out the colors and his eys look fabulous. The pose is super cute too. I know from experiance that photographing reptiles is difficult at best. Great work.
