Jan looked into the sky longingly. The sky didn't look right to them. It lay blank with a few stars twinkling in the distance. It needed something special. AHA! Fireworks! That's what they needed! But fireworks would not come until New Years and that was days from now. The gastrosnap grumbled in disappointment, lowering their head forlornly. Suddenly, an idea hit them. The snap lowered into a crouching position. With a few cat-like wiggles of their butt they leaped into the air.They streaked through the sky. Sparkling golden dust blazed behind them. The snap grinned. What a thrill! What fun! And what fun the humans must be having down below as they watched this strange creature fly!
Tonight, Jan would make their own fireworks.

They love fireworks and partying the night away. If they can't find any fun they tend to make their own. This includes anything from streaking through the sky to lighting fireworks suddenly (both startle many people).
