The following is from my Google Doc of Season 8+ Season Involvement for my OC's Aeria Wiater and Darkstorm (Storm) that relates to this piece:

When the Tornado of Creation is formed, Aeria is transported to the plane where Lloyd meets his grandfather and is told by him that, in order for Aeria to be revived, Storm would have to be “relinquished.” Storm reveals that she knew the risks and that the time she spent with Aeria once they fully accepted one another was something she would never forget and they part ways for the final time when Aeria and Lloyd are revived.
