around the end of last year, I reread "The Brothers Lionheart" by Astrid Lindgren, and it made me cryyyy...it's such a timeless, smart children's book that doesn't treat its target audience like idiots, or like they can't handle serious things. As a child, I liked it, but it didn't touch me like it did now...maybe having lost a parent and being the most afraid of losing my sisters made me understand it much more. And generally being more in tune with my feelings and less afraid of indulging in sad things.I highly recommend it!
