History:
There's very little history behind Riv. He had been abandoned by his family at one of the last remaining Jedi temples in hopes that some day he would help fend off the growing Sith expansion. The temple was his home, other Jedi his family. He was only a short time away from taking the Trials to become a Knight when the temple was sacked by invading Sith. He and his master were a part of the very few that escaped. They made their way to Bothawui, a safe sector for Jedi. This is also where he inherited his ship, formerly his Master's. He's spent years since training as a Jedi and working on refitting his ship to have more modern equipment.
