I loved this before I even started reading Death Note.

I can't blame you, because I wanted to stop too. But later I kept reading and and L's successors were pretty awesome too!

P.S. I think reading the manga is better than watching the anime. Sure, the anime is prettier and more dramatic, but it cut out a lot of stuff from the story line and it doesn't make as much sense as the manga. D:
