EDITDECISION I'm enjoying reading these funny comments XD;; I decided I can't draw nipples. It's too much pressure on me. I'm embarrass as hell! But I tallied the votes, and nipples does win...but its too much for me to handle for this piece. So maybe next time I'll do that for something else (like a BL pic or something). And why are people fav-ing this pic and even a print request? It's not even a complete artwork........XDEDITAGAIN Okay I already made quite a few changes esp on A..which I'm not showing haha..
But thanks to everyone's critique!! It helped a lot. I'm still contemplating the nipple idea haha.
OLD Should I add nipple? I never really drew them...not even in my figure drawing classes. *so shy*
Oh man abs are hard.........no wonder i don't do it often T_T;; This summer I'm just going to practice drawing lots of nude haha.

Wow, thats really good. You know the male figure pretty well.
I do think you should add nipples ^___^ I get that feeling like something is missing without them, because the rest is pretty realistically done.

My vote is for the nipple, I think they are very hard to get right. You did a great job on the abs and drawing more nudes is something I should practice on this summer too. Goodluck to you!

Wow these look great! Go ahead and draw the nipples. I was a little embarassed too at first, but, believe me, it's something you have to get used to. The first time is extremely awkward, but it will make the atatomy more realistic....though.....I don't really understand why men have nipples in the first place.....

As for my men have nipples, because genetically, in our first few stags of being born, we were both sexes XD just only one sex traits develop further while the other recedes. XD;;

I'm not sure about nipples, I knwo for a fact everytime people draw them, I can't look at anythign BUT the dark specs on their abs.

I really like how youve used shadow instead of drawing lines to define their abs, too many people do that and it makes it look really amaturish. Some people even go so far as to give characters things that look nowhere near ab-like but they insist they are. These look very real and very... touchable

I wish I could help you, but I don't really see anything wrong. Then again I haven't taken any human anatomy classes yet. I don't think they even offer it at my schoolllll..... bwaaaahhhh.

And yes... ADD Nipples... believe it or not, men have them too and they can give a lot of pleasure during ... you know... sex...

Well, I can't call myself an an expert concerning the ab shading, but I'll try to help. xD;;
I think B could use a bit more shadow under/near the armpit. And if A is the torso of a young boy, I'd suggest making the.. eh.. breasts less defined - I think that can be archieved by having the breasts cast less hard shadows. C looks fine to me!
I'd say yes to the nipples, because it's just more natural. : D I'm not bothered by the lack of it, though. In coloured drawings, I'd suggest not defining the nipples too much with lines if you don't want them to attract too much attention. Use colours.
Err, though you might be surprised at how many people actually comment about nipples when they see them, haha, e.g.: "Nippies! Teehee!", even though they're natural things. xD
I haven't looked up proper reference pics myself, but from what I've observed and applied to my own drawings: nipples should be placed low off-center of each breast. Ah, it probably varies per person, so I'm not entirely sure. ^^ ;; I've never had any lifedrawing classes. In any case, don't place nipples too close to eachother and try to pay attention to the size of the nipple - not too big and not too small either, but I guess that's up to your preference. xD;; I'm sure looking up nipple references will help, haha.

i prob wouldn't advise with adding on a nipple.. tho i think guys nipples in general are pretty dark.. but it just feels wierd when i see it see it in a drawing/painting

I think "C" is your best one, only add nipples under two conditions... 1) No milkdud nipples 2) Make sure they don't look cold enough to poke someone's eye out! o_< Oh yes, the definition is most prominent & eye catching in option "C" because unlike the other ones it doesn't look as blobby(?) I don't mean for that to sound bad...btw. But I seriously think the way you combined the soft and hard lighting in "C" is best!!~
