My interpretation of Danny Phantom!!!I don't have the channel to watch it, but I saw three episodes while I was at my cousin's house~
It so cool >3< I need Nickolodean channel~!!! *researching for cheaper rate*
Dedicated to fer mentioning DP in her journals XD;;
Danny is soo cute XD
esp in Ghost form. *cries..need nick channel...*I tried keeping the style (simple shapes, color and geometrics) and render it to anime style. I used a lot of reference--screencaps.
I first blocked out the artwork in their cartoony form and then render it so it looks more detailed. *I'll show it in my scrap*
The perspective on the building is waay off but that dun matter :3 And some stuff may look weird like the father and the balance of the piece, but I like it

Muu.. i wonder if it'll come out in DVD... *sniff*

This looks better than the show itself! I especially like what you did with Jaz's hair and Tucker's face, though Danny's body could be more defined (I find it slightly Gumby-esque). But yeah, overall, the whole thing rocks!
And as for not having Nickelodeon, you have other options. If it's because you don't have cable TV, download episodes from Kazaa. If it's because you don't have cable at all, get your cousin to tape the episodes and send them to you! Or, just do what my folks do when they want to watch the Sopranos (since our cable doesn't include premium channels) -- wait for it to come out on DVD, and if you're really strapped for cash, wait a little longer for the library to carry it.
(I'm sorry, I can't imagine living without Danny Phantom. How do you do it?!)

I love it. Especially Sam's expression. The whole no-black line thing is something I've been trying desperaatly to experiment with, but to no avail. You've done it very, very nicely.

here's the tip:
treat other colors as if they were black when outlining them. and then play with what color is complimentary with what
unless you want to do linless artwork....then it be like shaping things in color and then rendering them smoothly.

Thanks for the tips. I'm going to give it a shot or two, but I think I'd have to color it in colored pencils. When I scan things into the computer they have all black lines and it takes a while to isolate them all. I'm going to try something slightly different next time to avoid that problem. . .
