Ok so you know how I just said I would post this tomorrow. Well turns out tomorrow is now and I'm here to share another redraw of a cursed au thing I made in my early osc days.

May I present to you....Inanimate Magic Insanity. Made on August 26th, 2016. Back when I thought Yin and Paintbrush were girls and when memes of Lightbulb were everywhere.

This along with many other of my old creations have become personal jokes of mine since 2021. I actually wanted to take my hand in redrawing this glorious image, though I was very reluctant because I had no idea how people would take it. Then I was convinced by some friends to redraw it, and that's when I decided "you know what, why not". And now here we are lol.

Inanimate insanity was not the only show that I gave this treatment back then (see also BFDI, Object Overload and Object Mayhem), but it was the first, and was also the first thing from my 2016 days that I consider to be super weird lol.

I partially remember some of the story I gave this (yes believe it or not I actually tried to make a story for this), so why not share it.

So the plot is that the object world is under attack by some evil aliens, and everyone in this picture gains superpowers from some fairy woman. So then everyone in the II cast is now like this big hero group, with everyone in this picture being the actual superheroes, the contestants not in this picture and MePhone being like mission givers and "spies", and Toilet is like the equivalent to the "annoying fairy mascot". And the ones who were heroes got long transformations and stuff. Also Lightbulb was the leader.

So basically, a campy Inanimate Insanity Mahou Shoujo lol. I even made a sorta "sequel" to this I called Inanimate Magic Insanity Night Lights, which was more of the same except it was nighttime and they got night related outfits. I did a lot with this thing, though not all of it saved to my current computer lol.

There is one new addition I made to this old image though, the inclusion of Nickel. You see a few months ago I told some friends about this and we had a good laugh. But then we got the thought of "what if nickel was in this". Now I didn't put him in it before because I heavily disliked Nickel back then. I don't dislike him anymore soooo.....I jokingly made an edit of him like it was still 2016. When I started redrawing the og image, I decided to include him in here because why not lol.

It's honestly kinda fun to go back and laugh with, and even though I do still mildly cringe at it, I'm amused at how imaginative I was back then.

That will not stop me from apologizing to the II fanbase lol.
