Description
It's that time of month where I unleash the floodgates of my nostalgia again. So yeah, I think my 2000s-early 2010s nostalgia has come in full force this year. Perhaps it's coming from the fact that this is my last year being a teen (I'm turning 17 this year), or just me simply missing the rainbowy, glittery, pixely visuals from the past. I mostly reflected this in my previous MS Painters picture, about how desperately I want the 2000s aesthetic to make a comeback. If the 90s could do it, then so can the 2000s!
But until then, I decided to let out my most recent nostalgia wave in a picture.
The scene aesthetic is something I've been looking a lot into this year, and I just love the style of it so much. It's what inspired Spraycan, who's becoming one of my favorite new OCs. I even tried to replicate that one artsyle everyone used back then where the eyes were pure white and had messy outlines. This kind of style was something I ran into a lot when I was little, and along with anime, pixel gifs, cutesy flash games, and the x D random humor icons, it's how I spent most of my DA surfing.
So I drew Spraycan on his very own scene-inspired background. I even gave him some spraycan tool decorations (a cracked heart, a star, and what is supposed to be himself lol). I would've loved to add glitter gifs onto this but alas I don't know how.
I miss this style of stuff, I really do lol.
