Amy Pond was having an ordinary afternoon when she stumbled upon an old, dusty book in her grandmother's attic. As she cautiously flipped through its pages, a small amulet fell out, catching her eye. It was in the shape of a cat, adorned with elegant gems and precious stones.

Intrigued, Amy picked up the amulet and held it in her hand. Suddenly, a brilliant flash of light engulfed her, leaving her momentarily blinded. When the light faded, Amy gasped in horror to find herself transformed into a small, fluffy, ginger cat.

"Great. Just great," she muttered, her voice now reduced to a mere mew. "How am I going to explain this to the Doctor?"
