GUESS WHAT??

For those who do not know, I got my very first drawing tablet finally!! (If anyone wonders which kind, it's a screen-less Wacom Intuos! ...I chose screenless since touch screens don't usually like me lol...plus, I wanted to start out the old fashion(?) way first! X3) I was sooooo excited when it finally came in! Long story short, I was worried but, it came in safe and sound!! (Well...it doesn't make much sound but...you know what I mean. XD)
So far, I love it! I plan to keep practicing with it as well and hope I can make really good art with it in the future!

I drew this picture of Reimu (from ZUN's--The Shanghai Alice's--Touhou series) by tracing over a paper/pencil drawing I did as my first actual project to start out digital art on the tablet.

Since I did something similar to this when I was using the Colors 3D app on the Nintendo 3DS (Due to the lighting in our house being not so great, I never did take a picture with the Nintendo 3DS to trace over traditional drawings, but I did trace over some older drawings I did on an another app I used on the 3DS called: Flipnote Studio!), I thought it would be a neat idea to start out this way!

{I also doodled a bit before this as well...but, you don't want to see those! LOL! ...maybe? I tried doodling art I use to draw when I was a kid and tried to make it look just as bad. It ended up pretty well done...or...badly done? Haha!}

As for my thoughts (imo time!) about this artwork I've just done.....iiiiitt's not that bad. I could of done better.

It kinda reminds me of how I colored digitally in the beginning of High School... and that was with using a mouse and not a tablet...so....yeah, I'm gonna need to work on that. Haha! X'D
I also don't like how I drew the head...
I tend to draw heads unbalanced, it's so hard to make a perfect head shape! ><''
But then again...I probably could use a circle tool or a circled selection tool...hmmm....

Other than that, I'm actually pretty okay with how this turned out as my first digital drawing on my lappy (lap top) and don't worry! I'm not losing my interest in drawing more with my tablet just because I didn't like the first drawing I did! Obviously! XD
I can't quit after paying for it and plus, it's been my dream to draw digitally on the computer so...I WILL keep practicing and improving! In fact, I've made a schedule of when to draw. (And to do other things as well) So, I made myself plenty of time to practice! ^_^
I want to say more about my excitement about getting this tablet and how I can finally draw digitally but, right now, I can't think of any words to express my excitement!!
I prolly won't, maybe I might someday but, right now I think you understand either way, ne?

I better use CLIP STUDIO as much as I can before the 30 days are up...I think I have 27 days left now? LOL! I don't plan on buying it right away after the trial expires since I'm trying to save up even more now. (Which was my saving plan. I planned to save up a whole lot better than before getting the tablet, after getting it! So, I am now in a new chapter of the saving up part of my life! X3) I'll go back to using GIMP when it expires for digital art as well as other things I use GIMP for though! ^^
The original plan was to save up for the tablet but, that wasn't it. I also have been planning for saving up for getting a better lap top and giving my current one to my youngest brother since he's the only one in the family who doesn't have a lap top, a flat screen TV for my brothers before I ever move away and....my brothers are gonna hate me for this but...I plan to get a doll too! (One of the ball jointed/Dollfie Dream dolls)
I also plan to save up for whenever I move out. I was thinking of saving up for college but...the college idea is getting weak and I'm starting to lose interest in it now. ><
It's been too much of a long wait for getting the money for it...and now, I'm losing interest in it.

But...

Maybe I'll go back to thinking about it! Maybe I'll join a college online after going to my own place? I doubt I would be able to successfully "go to" college everyday when I need to if I'm staying with family because well...internet complications and the feeling of someone randomly crashing through a door for something...lol. X'D
