Description
Mello takes a bite out of some chocolate he finds from Near's stuff. Unfortunately, it's plastic.

For the first time I wasn't lazy to work on this with pencils only. I actually had time to ink and color this. Hurrah.

Conceptualizing the idea was difficult. I'm not sure about the color of Mello's eyes whether they're green, brown, black or blue. Using my own judgment, I observed screenshots of Mello from the anime and I came up with green.

A real L was supposed to be in the last panel eating a plastic scone and suffering the same fate as Mello. However, I realized that he won't fit in there anymore because he's too tall. The solution? I turned him into a doll. The result? It's like Near is having his own pretend-tea party with L.
