Description
WARNING, FIRST ATTEMPT AT USING A WACOM TABLET SO EXCUSE ANY CHEESINESS. CLOSER VIEW FOR MORE DETAIL ALSO.Well, what better way to start using a graphite tablet than to start colouring on your own pictures. This is the colouring how i forsee Rustbucket, looking kinda weathered if you ask me. I guess not a bad attempt for a couple of hours and my first attempt.
Comments welcome.

How did I find this--like, 5 minutes ago and I can't even remember -_- someone's fav list, probably. Anyway, this just really reminded me of a couple pieces of writing I did some years ago (couple pages back into my gallery, I think, "Rusty Little Man" parts 1 & 2). Check 'em out, see if you get the same vibe. (I mean, there are obvious connections, but this scene especially carries some of the same undertones as the writing.) Cool gallery, man.

its good I like it...Tablets look hard to me, the whole monitor and tablet co-ordination thing...
But I like this style....tell me a little more about how you made it...

Oh, this is peaceful in a cogitative, yet mournful, sort of way, if that makes any sense.

Nice... can't put my finger on why I like it... the mellow colors, and the contrast of technology against nature look really nice. Much better than my first attempts at the Wacom

Wow! That picture is so much more awesome than anything I'll be able to do! (which I realize isn't saying much, but you get the point)
BTW, how much do Wacom Tablets cost? I'm thinking of getting one myself... unless they're extremely expensive.

Helluva lot better than my first time Heh... my dad's computer is called The Rustbucket. And this pic really does remind me of it, too... >_> That said, it's a very, very cool pic... I love the grass that's grown all over him! Makes him look fuzzy ^_^

veeeery Nice o.o The colours you used and the lighting is great. The grass may be a little strange -the one on his back- but itΒ΄s a minimal detail. This looks quite realistic anyway. oh and I like the sketched lines very much ^_^
I canΒ΄t believe itΒ΄s your first attempt with a tablet.. ItΒ΄s not easy to get used to it. Congrats, this is
