Update: If you were having trouble with 'theshireterrain', it's because I accidentally added in the wrong one, sorry about that! the fixed version has been added in, it's just 'shire' now but it works! Sorry about that and hope it didn't cause anyone to much heartache ;u;As promised, 17 detailed height maps for you. They each include their own mask as well, but feel free to make your own if you would prefer not to use mine. (And I know there are only 16 shown in the preview but I couldn't make the last one fit! )
Click the 'Download' button to the right of the deviation to get them!
Note: Please do not edit any of the files provided or claim them as your own. Remember to give credit where credit is due!

So only a part of the maps are showing up? That is very strange, I don't think I've encountered a problem like that before. Have you tried doing any of the broken maps again to see if you keep getting the same result? You might try opening up a map like Watermill and then replacing the height map with one of these instead of trying to create a new map right away.

ive already tried, it still doesn't want to work, but ive decided ill have to live with it. the maps are very good regardless.

Thank you so much for these heightmaps. I've planned on using them several times in the past, but never gotten around to it. That's changed now and I've decided to use quite a few of these heightmaps for a mapped roleplay I'm currently working on.
I'm going to be uploading videos of the map-making to my youtube channel so if you want to watch, I'll leave a link below and I'll be giving credit wherever it is due.

It's actually kind of like a marshland type... Thing. It just fit with the plot, and I have to say, it's my favourite heightmap of them all. xD
Over time, I'll work on more maps to link up with the roleplay and such, each one will have a different style and 'colour scheme'. All of them will be as detailed as the one before it though C:
Yeah, it's a pretty huge maps, and I also have add-on maps. They shouldn't take too long though since they're intended to be camps and such. Time-wise, I think it'll take around 4-6 months to complete the 'territory' map, and then another month or so to do the camps. I've dedicated Wednesdays and Sundays to them, so that should knock a little off the wait for others.
If you like, I can keep you updated on the map, post videos and such on my page; if you're interested, just have a peek every now and then. ^.^

My goodness it must be huge! I remember it took me about 2 and half months to make all of the Verto Animus maps, so I commend your commitment to your maps! There's no need to keep me informed (I left FH a long time ago so odds are I wouldn't see the completed product anyways

It's not... /huge/ but it is big. I think the territory's somewhere 30'000 x 30'000 Camp maps will be considerably smaller because... Well... They're camps xD They don't need to be huge.
I'd love to make it public, but for now, I'll be keeping it up for members of my roleplay only. - I think when it dies down, I'll end up making it public and making an entirely new map to continue a sequel to the original roleplay.
I've even decided to add in 'empty camps' so that leaders can choose to move their clan to a new camp if they want or need to. Definitely going to take a while.

Ugh computers why you no work?! The same thing happened to me for the LOTR project and completely threw it off track. - . - Sorry that you lost all that work, but I guess you're right, keep at it and i'm sure it will still be awesome

Well, this laptop has been through hell and back and still recovered so I think I can /trust/ this laptop xD

These maps are....just so detailed! I can't imagine how long it must take, or even how much effort that must have been put into each and every one of these! You inspire me to make my own. Well...Maybe when I get my old laptop back with FH on it x3
You seem to have a unique talent for imagining the height of each map perfectly as you draw it, and how it must turn out, each and every one of these is a piece of art in itself, a well done from me is nowhere near the kind of credit you need.

Oh my Gosh! These look PERFECT! I think it's simply AMAZING that you allowed people to get them. It makes it a lot easier for us untalented people ._. I recently made a pack on FeralHeart. Also, I made the pack's website and one last thing I needed was a map, since pretty much all cool packs have a map. I tried and failed. I really wanted to make one by myself, but... yeah. That didn't really work out. I would like to use one of these, and I will give credit on the website and in the pack's bio, if that's okay. Thanks again for making these and letting people use them!

I. Love. These. All of them, seriously. They look simply perfectly. And I know you allow everyone do use them, but I'd like to ask anyway...I'm planning on making a mapped roleplay and they would excellently fit as height maps for my maps...I wouldn't make any better than these, so...may I use them? .3. I'm not enough creative and even though you have made a great tutorial and I have read it a few times, I still can't make as ideal masks as you. And just by the way...are you taking requests? :3 Interested only in some height maps, even though I LOVE your maps. ;3;

It works now because I had to re-download my feral heart because I exported haven and it messed my account up (I lost everything).
