On the eve of December 5th 2019, a monster rose. A creature whose single minded wrath that threatened the of the worlds of man and monster as the result of yet the poetic conception of humanity's hubris. A group of unidentified microscopic crustaceans were discovered by a group of marine biologists on September 5th 1998. Novice creatures that would have been a footnote in the textbooks if it weren't for the fact that they have thrived in an environment historically absent of life. One where generations of marine life were lost and that choked reefs until all that's left was a silty graveyard.. yet they thrived. Since their discovery they have been experimented upon. Tested. The twilight of the initial dawn of monsters upon the 21st century reaching its close yet inspite of all the solutions. Fear still reigned in the minds of millions. For the handful of formal assaults upon humanity created scars that while some could forgiven. Others could not. This fear. This hatred. These talons who've clung to many hearts still pierced and thus those in power saught to create a weapon. A living weapon.

One that would be at their disposal and in theory would utterly ravage the towering beasts that have reigned with fear in the minds of many inside out in a crimson shower that would curdle their flesh and hollow their bones. Subjected to similar controlled conditions that made them to what they are. These creatures would grow desperate. Ravenous. Indomitable even for their size and would begin to tear each other apart, imploding, becoming a malleable state until they where a more resilient form to face their world with their conjoined might. From there they multiplied, their genome becoming increasingly volitile and maturating into violent beasts who eviscerated all manner of creature to further their warpath. While evolution's hand was no more caring, man's own saught to create something more. Something wrong.

The worse however, was yet to come..
