Powers: Humas are the Persian cousins to the Phoenix. Unlike the typical Phoenix, they are not able to produce fire and only burst into flame to be reborn every couple hundred years. However, because they are firebirds, they still prefer hot climates and cannot be burned. Also, if they fly over your head in bird form and their shadow passes over you, they are known to bring good fortune.

Clothing/Accessories: Gauge in each ear, industrial piercing in right ear, both brows pierced as well as a lip ring... winged tribal tattoo on back... typically wears baggy jeans/slacks and layered clothing to keep from getting "cold"...

Personality: A confident, tell-it-how-it-is kinda guy with loads of quips and sarcasm. To his students, he's an fun, quirky teacher with lots of random trivia stored away ready to surface at any moment. Cyrus keeps class interesting by asking everyone to look at things from multiple perspectives and has been known to enjoy a good brainstorming session. He always has some sort of caffeine handy, usually coffee, and has a bad habit of smoking, but has been trying to quit for a while. When needed he can discipline like any other teacher, in fact more so because it's such a huge difference from his normal personality. He's a genuinely good guy that just wants to see his students succeed in life and to look at every possible option available. Believes heavily in making your own way and marching to the beat of your own personal handmade drum. Enjoys music and all facades of art. He is also the teacher mentor for the Yearbook/Newspaper committee.
