Reworking the character reference I had started a few years ago because the proportions were off and over all it did not look like the original model.New version matches far more closely.
Changed head size and shape, various changes to proportions of body, giving it a more clearly defined shape and balance, pushed the stylization and gave more focus over all to the details.
Trying this out in with Clip Studio Paint (Manga Studio Pro 5) this time instead of using Paint Tool SAI like I usually do.
The mirroring tools are fabulous for doing forward and backward views, but there are still a lot of things I do not know about this program yet, and I learned several new things on this project alone.
Eventually hoping to have back and side views as well.
