Commission for KyleJCrb of their elfin D&D character.

Since I was told that Ariane was a sorceress who combined bard skills with her magic spells, I thought it would be fun to also see if I could cross her garb between the two as well. Boots, corset and trousers for a Bard, and a cloak like short robe for a sorceress. I added metal decoration to her boots to make them a bit more on the fancy side, but since I didn't know how long this character has been in campaign, I didn't want things to get too 'upper tier' looking either. I wanted to try and keep her outfit light and easy to move in, since she is primarily an offensive, close range mage.
The cylinders on her left hand hip are for storing scrolls.

I kept a lot of the colors from one of the references I was sent, as she looked good in the purple and silver accents, but I wanted to expand the palette a bit as well, and added a green tunic for a hint of 'elf'.
The reason that not all of her stones are of the same color theme is that unless you get lucky and get a gear set, or manage to buy a gear set, most D&D characters (or even WoW), don't manage to get completely matching sets. Also, she can use a few different spell types, and might have some items that specialize in different elements. And with her earrings, I made them different colors with the idea that they could be something like mana crystals that have been mounted to be wearable, each color containing a different charge of a spell type. Pictured here, maybe curse, poison, ice and fire.

Of course, you are welcome to change any elements that you want, Kyle, or any colors. I was just playing around with a few ideas. ^.^
